Training Particulars

CR Analysis conducts single one-hour training courses, ½ day workshops and full day workshops. We offer training program packages that are tailored to client needs – with our assistance managers can select those courses that have relevance to their conflict issues. All CRA Training courses include handouts – and all the materials are provided to ensure participants gain the maximum skills and understanding in each content area.

CR Analysis develops written guidelines for employees. Through CRA’s background in research and academics, we have the skills and experience to write and develop CR programs and employee guidelines that deal with conflict issues.

CR Analysis offers online surveys and online services for your convenience. CR Analysis’s Conflict Resolution Programming follows OSHA and Labor Law guidelines. 

Certified Mediators: Dr. Patterson and Training Director, Noreen Cabrera earned advanced degrees in mediation theory and practice during educational training at their respective Universities. Conducting mediations and becoming Certified Mediators through the National Conflict Resolution Center in San Diego, CA further honed their skills.  

Having gained mediation skills - and practiced mediation technique - ensures that CR Analysis staff will work well with individuals and groups - even when faced with highly emotionally charged conflict situations.

Focus Group Leaders: Dr. Patterson and her staff are skilled Focus Group Leaders. Focus Groups are conducted for many different reasons; however, focus groups are generally conducted to gathers opinions and statements to understand a given situation.  

A Focus Group is a planned, relaxed, naturalistic dialogue among a small group of people on a specific topic. The advantage of focus groups over one-on-one interviews is twofold. First, information can be obtained more quickly because only one interview is scheduled for a group, rather than one for each person. More importantly, the group setting allows individuals to use the ideas of others as cues to more fully elicit their own views.

Group Facilitators: CR Analysis has trained and experienced facilitators. There are many components to making facilitations work – emotionally charged meetings need a traffic cop! Problem-solving, planning and decision-making methods, specific interventions, and discussion and presentation techniques are all part of the tools that make up CRA facilitation abilities.
